Wake, Orange, and Durham Counties School Information

You can’t talk long about the Triangle area without mentioning the education. After all, the triangle has the region’s three major research universities – Duke in Durham, North Carolina State in Raleigh and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – they are the the three points that make up the research Triangle.

At the elementary and secondary school levels more than 340 public schools and 121 private schools educate the leaders and workers of tomorrow. A Performance Composite is available next to every school listed below, giving you the ability to determine the over all education level that learning center has to offer you children after you relocate to the Triangle.
