Home Inspection
This is the inspection that everyone should have performed when purchasing a home. It should be conducted by a NC licensed home inspector with several years of experience. This can be the very best money you can spend during the home buying process. Choosing the right home inspector is very important. Why do I need a home inspection?

Norh Carolina in not a title state, therefore, our closings are performed by Real Estate Attorneys not by Title Companies. For this reason, NC enjoys some of the lowest closing fees in the nation.
Home Warranties
These warranties will cover the repair of many items during the first year of ownership. Often the seller will purchase the warranty for the new home buyer. These are provided for resale homes only. Many times Builders will provide 10 year warranties on the structure of homes but not on the mechanical items.
Home Owners Insurance or Hazard Insurance
This is insurance on the dwelling for any type of major loss or damage. Mortgage companies require you to have a policy in place at the time of closing on the home.
