One of the aspects of our UNIQUENESS as a Real Estate Agency, is that we really do work as a team. You may choose to work with any one of our associates and we support each other should your agent not be immediately available. Therefore we are supplying you with a brief biography of each person in our company to see if you might have common interests and feel a connection with a particular person. We will try our best to team you with the person of your choice, however, we must consider the client load of that individual to insure you will be receiving the personal attention and quality of service we promise.
Ann Davis, Owner
Ann started FOR HomeBUYERS, Inc, in 1991 after having worked as a traditional agent since 1987. Buyer representation was spreading in popularity and Ann's discomfort with being legally responsible to the seller while working with buyers, prompted her to open the first Exclusive Buyer's only real estate agency in Wake County North Carolina. This move allowed FOR HomeBUYERS, Inc. to legally represent Buyer's Only and never take listings from Sellers. It also meant she would never be caught in a conflict of interest situation.
Accustomed to caring for and about people as a Registered Nurse, Ann has carried this commitment over into her Real Estate business. She insists that every client receive the very best service possible from each and every agent associated with F OR HomeBUYERS, Inc.
Although at present her selling is limited due to the demands of handling the marketing for the business and caring for her elderly mother, she is still very involved in monitoring the quality of service provided to FOR HomeBUYERS' clients. She is particularly concerned that every client feels that the best possible representation and service was provided and that their home buying experience was a positive one.

Allen Shaver, Broker-In-Charge/Exclusive Buyer's Broker
Allen joined FOR HomeBUYERS, Inc. in February of 1999, coming from a traditional Real Estate firm. Having worked in Management of a service business for 20 years prior to entering Real Estate, he felt that serving home buyers exclusively, better met his desire to help and serve others.
In 2002?? Allen assumed the duties of Broker-In-Charge and is responsible for managing day to day operations of FOR HomeBUYERS, Inc. in addition to serving his own Buyer Clients. With Allen's previous managerial experience he became quite adept at multi tasking extremely efficiently.
Allen is a native Raleigh-ite (which is hard to find) and is very familiar with all of the surrounding communities, since he has participated in many of their activities during his former employment. He is married and has a 7-year-old son who is a real "ball of fire".
He is our "high tech" agent and "has computer, will travel". If you speak computer-eeze then you will enjoy an agent with whom you can communicate!
Other interests include cooking for large groups, restoring old cars and landscaping. His advice on landscaping will come in very handy during your home purchase process.
